St Patrick Church, Kathleen, Ga.Welcome to The Father Michael A. Burke Council 14488

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.7 million members. It provides members with volunteer opportunities in service to the Church, community, and family. The organization is family-oriented and founded on the concepts of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, Patriotism and defense of the priesthood. Supporting these ideals, we concentrate in organizing and funding activities that focus on Family, Council, Community, Church, and Youth at a local and national level.

On 29 January 2008, The Father Michael A. Burke Council 14488, Kathleen Georgia officially became a Council. The first Grand Knight was Mike Gavel and Deputy Grand Knight Gene Ziemba. The Council was named in honor of Father Michael A. Burke, the first Pastor of St. Patrick Church.
